I have read the keynote in the apple site that they seem to mention iPhone app were directly transferable to IPAD in x2. I tried on the simulator with an app using the media players tolaunch a simple video, and it really does not work on the ipad, they had to change the codes. You have to change the codec and then only you will able to use that for your iPad. So, just try that and then you will able to use that.

You have to perform the some of the steps below for that.
First plug your iPad to the computer.
Then simply Launch iTunes.
You will able to view the iPad icon on the left.
Simple select that.
It will then give you option for the sync.
Then you need to select the applications.
Check the box for the applications which is having the list for the iTunes.
Uncheck the applications which you don’t required.
Then click on the Sync.
Done.

Your friend is facing this problem, as he had not updated iTunes and that is why when he try to sync the application, he get such sort of the freezing problem. So, simply make use of the updated iTunes application and then he can solve its problem. So, just do that and solve the problem of freezing. I already have a laptop, but it’s a 17 inch dell and weighs 16lbs and I don’t think it’s a good fit for me when I go off to school in August. The price of the iPad is a good bit cheaper than the macbook pro, so I am considering getting an iPad next month, but I don’t know whether I can sync all the music and movie from my iPod to iPad.Does anybody knows how to do?

Still by now, apple only allow their users to sync music or other stuffs from PC to iPod device with iTunes. If you sync your iPod/iPhone to a different iTunes library on a different computer, the files on your iPod/iPhone will be erased when your sync. You can use an iPod to computer transfer program to transfer them to your new computer first, and then transfer all the movie/music to your iPad. I personally use wondershare iTransfer to sync movie to my computer and then sync them to other devices
